The scope of our work is very extensive and spans over two decades and dozens of products. This simple page is intended only to give a quick glance at our capabilities. We have succesfully worked with both large organizations (US Navy, for example) and a multitude of startups in various stages of development. A number of our innovations have been granted US patents, with several additional US and Foreign patents pending. Electronics design services

Hardware, firmware and software architectures and development. We have a record of innovative, cost effective solutions from first use of clock-doubling in a processor in 1988, to first use of DRAM architecture that later became known as EDO, to more recent embedded designs using processors such as the Motorola Coldfire series and others. Our primary focus is on embedded solutions using digital, analog and custom CPLD and FPGA circuits. We have written both low-level ROM code and complete custom RTOS, including custom command and control languages and protocols, as well as device drivers for a number of major operating systems. Currently our electronics work is primarily carried out in support of our automotive-related projects.


PCB design and layout services

To provide one-stop service for a wide range of systems we offer PCB design services as part of our electronics design work. Advanced dense packaging, multilayer boards with both-sides component mounting and complex 3-dimensional component placement requirements. If the components can be physically placed in a given space, typically we are able to route it in 6 layers or less. We have experience with designing for EMI emissions and susceptibility control, and have successfully gotten a number of designs through FCC-B and CE certification.


Mechanical design and 3D CAD in SolidWorks

From machined parts and sheetmetal assemblies to advanced composites to complex injection-moulded assemblies. We have a unique multi-disciplinary perspective on material choices, design options and manufacturability. Rapid time to market and cost-effectiveness are the key result.


Complete manufacturing and vendor interface services

Electronic, mechanical and electromechanical component and systems fabrication, manufacture, assembly and test. Capabilities range from rapid, cost-effective prototypes to volume production. Over the years we have worked with a number of vendors, some excellent and some we won't use again. We use relationships that have worked well in the past to bring more value and complete solutions to our customers. We can also find and qualify new vendors if new or additional capabilities are needed.
